NaNoWriMo 2009 Winner & 2010 Participant

Alright people, I’m tackling NaNoWriMo this year and making plans. Some of this planning involves getting me awake and coherent - thus, caffeine.

So, what’s your preferred method(s) of caffeine consumption?

A. Coffee - from home or work coffee maker
B. Coffee - coffee house
C. Caffeinated soda (Pepsi, Coke, Mountain Dew, Barqs, etc.)
D. Energy Drinks (5 Hour-Energy, Red Bull, Rockstar, etc.)
E. Caffeine mints
F. Caffeine pills
G. Other (What other?)

Personally I tend to get my caffeine from soda (Pepsi, and I’ve been going to diet lately to lessen the sugar, but there’s sweetener anyway and it’s still acidic… bah, whatever) and I’ve gotten cafe mocha more often this past year. I have a Starbucks on the corner of my block and a local coffeehouse down the road a bit.

What I’d really like is to have something I can have on-hand in the house to prepare. Problem is, I don’t like coffee tasting too coffee-like - mochas work best for me. Also, I like it hot, chilled coffee tastes icky to me. So I’m looking for advice: tips for what to buy or how to do the mocha thing at home?
